Esra Caroline Røise, ein norwegische Freelance-Illustratorin aus Oslo mit BA in Visueller Kommunikation an der Hochschule der Künste in Oslo gemacht ( übrigens eine sehr schöne aber leider teure Stadt in Norwegen ), zeichnet, inspiriert durch scheinbar kleine unwichtige Alltagssituationen für die Mode und Musikindustrie, außergewöhnliche interessante Fashion-Illustrationen.
Zu ihren Kunden zählen:
VOGUE (China), Nylon-Magazin (US & MX), Wallpaper*, VICE, United Airlines, Grafik, BabyBabyBaby, Design Week mag, Carl s Cars, by: Larm, Natt & Dag, D2/Dagens Næringsliv um einige zu nennen.
Ein paar kleine Fragen aus dem Atomlabor gab es auch noch und Esra war so frei diese zu beantworten.
How long have you been drawing and painting?
i´ve been drawing and painting ever since i was a little kid.. as a little girl i could spend hours just losing myself and daydreaming with drawing and doodeling.
Not very unlike from what i still do ;)
How old are you ?
i´m 32, but still get id'ed every time i try to buy booze..

Which idols do you have?
i adore many, but David Hockney, Gustav Klimt, and Lucian Freud hold a very special place in my heart.
What are your next plans?
i have a lot of really exciting projects going on at the moment, but they are all hush-hush so im afraid i have to wait a little longer to spill the beans.
But my long-term plan is to keep drawing and creating art for as long as I can and hopefully relocate to New York in the immediate future;)
Do you know Germany ?
Not as well as I would like, but I've been to Berlin several times at least, and I absolutely adore the place!
