It starts with a short intro over Slynk’s “Traveling” and continues with Featurecast’s Rework of the classic Curtis Mayfield anthem”Tripping Out” before switching styles to the awesome Beatles Edit of “Come Together” and Tenor Saw’s Reggae Classic “Ring the Alarm” reworked by no other than Dr. Packer – for me one of the best “Editors” out there at the moment.Taking it back to my roots the mix continues with some nice Hip Hop Gems from Mos Def, Biggie Smalls, Nate Dogg and The Pharcycde. As the mix goes on, more & more groove comes into the game with lots of Disco Edits by KS French, Dj Butcher, Alkalino or Alien Disco Sugar.Kickin’ the funk the mix turns to an end with Dave Gerrard’s massive “Kurtis Breaks” Rework and last but not least Seegweed’s Edit of Willie Hutch’s “Slick” from the Blaxploitation Soundtrack of “The Mack”.
